Home Sweet Home (Busy Bugz Pop-Up Series)

Home Sweet Home by Christine Tagg and illustrated by Bill Bolton

This is only one book in the Busy Bugz Pop-Up Book series. Home Sweet Home is a simple story of lady bug Ruby trying to find a home of her own. On her search, she stays with her friends and finds out that not every home is perfect for everybody. She stays under a flower pot with Daisy Snail, on a spider web with her friend Webb, Buddy Beetle’s thatched roof home, Pip the caterpillar’s leaf. Ruby works hard with Sarge the ant, and her head gets dizzy staying in the beehive with Zed. In the end Ruby finally finds a home that is just perfect for her. This is great for preschoolers because it is a pop-up book with vibrant colors, large font and easy to follow storyline in 16 brightly colored pages. The pictures look 3D, which make it easier for the children to see. This book is great for learning colors, counting, learning about bugs and insects, as well as being a sweet story about friendship.
