Silly little goose! This colorful story follows a very silly little goose as she travels from animal family to animal family looking for the absolute perfect place to make a nest and lay her eggs.

The full page illustrations are very appealing, as are the uncluttered pages. There is very little verbiage, 3-4 words per page, written in large font. This book is ideal for a babies 2 and younger. The plot is very simple, with lots of repetition on each page. Each time goose tries and fails to find the perfect spot, readers can join along with the “Silly Little Goose” refrain. Within the illustrations, there is another story. It is very subtle, I didn’t even catch it until my second reading. It doesn’t change the plot, but if you catch it earlier, you can see where the story will conclude.
