J.K. Rowling is getting back to her roots…as a YA author. The bestseller, during an October 11 webcast hosted by Scholastic, said, from her home in Scotland, that her next project will likely be a book for younger readers. The webcast was also timed to the unveiling of a new branded Web site called The Harry Potter Reading Club, which features interviews with the author, as well as various portals for fans to discuss the Potter books. Scholastic said the webcast marked the first time Rowling has been available for questions from readers, in a live event, since 2007.
