PBS Kids Writer’s Contest (K-3rd Grade)

PBS Kids is launching a creative writing contest for students in Kindergarten through third grade. The criteria asks students to write short fiction stories along with a minimum of 5 illustrations. National prizes include tablet computers for four (4) first place winners (Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) $200 USD), e-readers (ARV $100 USD) for 4 second place winners, and MP3 players (ARV $75 USD) for 4 third place winners. Word Count

K-1st – 50-200 words

2nd – 3rd – 100-350 words

All entries for the Classroom Sweepstake must be postmarked by April 15, 2015 and received by April 20, 2015.
